About Principal

A dynamic personality who has left no stone unturned in the field of Pharmacy. He has completed his Bachelor in Pharmacy in 2001from Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Wardha, Maharashtra (Rashtrasant TukadojiMaharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur). He has completed his M. Pharm in 2007 from The TamilnaduDr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai with specialization in Pharmaceutical Analysis. His doctorate in pharmacy from KavayitriBahinabaiChaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon, Maharashtra, was completed in February 2016.He has completed PGDBM and PGDMM (ranking fifth in the university).

His entire experience exceeds 20 years, consisting of 3.9 years in industry and 17 years of teaching. He has been authorized by Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, as a PG & Ph. D guide. More than forty postgraduate (M. Pharm.) students have benefited from his research guidance. He has published 39 research papers in various national and international journals ofrepute and presented more than 25 papers in national & international conferences. His research area includes Analytical and Bio analytical method development and validation by HPLC and HPTLC. He has published 02 books on Pharmacy subjects. He has attended various training programmes, FDP, STP, Seminars, Conferences, Symposia and Workshops.

He has been honoured by Dr. P.D.Sethi Memorial Annual National Awards for Best Research Papers on Application of HPTLC in Pharma Herbal and Other Chemical Analysis for paper ‘Stability Indicating HPTLC Method Development and Validation for the Estimation of Saxagliptin in Bulk and Its Dosage Form’.

He is life member of Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI). He works in academia and administration at different stages in his career. He is reviewer for various national and international journals. He is actively involved in a number of committees, including College Development Committee, IQAC, the store and purchase committee, the intellectual property right committee, the research and development committee. He is also very interested in industry-institution interaction, with a particular focus on memorandums of understanding with industry for the purpose of student placements, industrial training, visits, and projects.
